About Us
We are a family with a small farm on the outskirts of London, Ontario. One of our dreams was to have a small farm to raise animals and grow our own vegetables and fruit. This dream came true in 2013 when we purchased a home on 10-acres on the outskirts of London. Over the years we have expanded our farm little by little.
Our desire is to provide food for our table and your table that is healthy and nutrient dense, without pesticides, herbicides, or antibiotics. We want our animals to be healthy and happy. Well cared for animals produce more nutritious food. We decided to use organic practices to remove the possibility of chemicals in our products. Caring well for our animals removes the need for antibiotics. Our animals are pastured, meaning they have access to the ground and can nibble on the grass under their feet. They are also outside in the fresh air, not cooped up in barns all year long. Our hens spend the winter in our greenhouse to protect them from the elements as they provide fertilizer for the soil. Our sheep and cows spend the winter in our open-air barn on deep bedding.
Over the years we have expanded our farm to include: laying hens, broiler chickens, turkeys, pigs, lambs, a family dairy cow, and a vegetable garden. We have enjoyed learning more about permaculture and regenerative farming and applying these ideas to our practices on the farm. We love the food our farm has provided for us; I hope you will enjoy it too!
