Lamb

Our lambs spend their time on pasture along with our cows, where there is a mobile shelter and access to water. We use rotational grazing practices so that they have access to fresh grass and the pasture has time to regrow before the sheep graze it again. This allows our pasture to improve from year to year. Our lambs only eat grass or hay; no grains. They are grass-fed and grass-finished.

Our lambs are born in late-winter or early-spring until early November. Customers can purchase a 1/2-lamb or whole-lamb and are given a cut sheet to inform us of the cuts they desire. The packaged lamb is ready for pick-up around mid-November. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required for 1/2-lamb and $100 for a whole-lamb.

Cost: $13/lb hung weight

Note: Hung weight is the weight of the animal after the hide, head, and organs have been removed, but before cutting. Finished weight is approximately 85-90% of the hung weight, depending on the cuts chosen.
