Our laying hens spend their spring, summer, and fall outside in a fenced area where there is a hen house, where they lay their eggs and sleep, and a run with grass and bugs to eat. In winter, they move into our greenhouse to protect them from the elements. They are fed an organic grain but also enjoy scratching at the ground looking for bugs, nibbling on the grass, taking dust baths in the loose ground, and greeting us with a cluck when we come to do our chores.

Our fresh eggs are available year round. Just call ahead to make sure we are home.
