Our turkeys are raised on grass. They spend their first 5 weeks in brooders where they can receive the proper heat and protection they need. Then they are moved to a fenced area where there is a shelter, food, and water. This fenced area is moved regularly so they have access to fresh grass and so the grass only receives the needed amount of impact and fertilization. They are fed an organic grain, but they also enjoy pecking at the grass for bugs, nibbling on the grass, and greeting us with a gobble when we come to do our chores.

We raise turkeys throughout the summer, so that they are ready for Thanksgiving. They are available fresh on the Friday of Thanksgiving weekend. We take pre-orders for our turkeys. A $20 non-refundable deposit is required.
